Never.
Actually got a pair of the Structures on End this week. First time I’ve got a pair in any raffle for at least two years.

They've sparked a fight for the eternal souls of the nation apparently
Our kids are being told that this kind of product is, not only okay, it's "exclusive." But do you know what's more exclusive? Their God-given eternal soul.

We are in a fight for the soul of our nation. We need to fight hard. And we need to fight smart. We have to win. https://t.co/m1k1YWFpuo -

I wonder if all of the conservative goons getting wound up about it would care quite as much if Lil Nas X wasn't queer and black?

Had a spare 15 minutes so began phase 1 of Jordan V sole swapping.
No idea what I'm going to do next. Will have a look what old shoes I have in the attic that I could use as a donor. Or maybe just use them as slippers. Not that bothered about trying to restore them properly, would rather do something fun with them.

Good luck. Be interesting to see what you choose 👍👍👍

Good chance it may take me another six months to get round to it... but will see. The soles of my favourite cycling shoes have just started to pull away from the upper so I need to buy some suitable glue anyway.
Am unclear how much leeway there is in attaching a non jordan v sole and getting it to fit. I assume there's some flexiblity, particularly if I can remove some of the glue marks roudn the edge. -

Yeah I was actually just looking on jd to see if there was any sale trainers that might work.

You’ll be wanting a Dremel or similar rotary tool with a flappy sander attachment and a load of acetone and cotton wool . If the glue has totally dried out it will just flake off but if there is any life in it then sanding will just heat it up and turn it back to a liquid and you end up clogging the sandpaper. Then you have to hit it with the acetone and cotton wool for hours.
The glue I used to attach upper to sole was a urethane based impact adhesive which you apply to upper and sole unit to dry out and then heat both with a heat gun so the glue is tacky again then you pretty much get one shot at lining them up before it sets. Not easy to find either.

Glad nike are doing a Free run again by far the most comfortable trainer I wore when I was sports coaching.

Thank you - the glue is quite dried out so will hopefully come off pretty easily.
Anyone tried this? https://www.sneakerscience.co.uk/products/sneakerser-sole-bonder-sneaker-restoration-transplant-glue
Or should I be looking for something more industrial? -

Popped up on FB earlier, hadn't seen them before & given the date I thought they were a cruel jibe at people who couldn't face Crocs but wanted practical foam shoes for the beach / garden etc. - transpires they're real & I don't know if I can carry them off, even underwater / undermud
