Fuck Nike.
I hate how they've wormed into skate shops after being blocked twice before. It'll gut skating once it's not cool enough.

What do you mean 'wormed' into skate shops!? Most of the Powell Peralta Bones Brigade, Santa Cruz crew were wearing Nike back in the mid 80's! Remember seeing Cabalerro(or was it Hosoi?) in AJ1's back in '86
Blazers, Dunks, Jordans, AF1's were the staple of many Pro skaters over 20years ago - you probably weren't born then -

People skated in Nikes way back, before skaters were making shoes for themselves. Where have Nike been over the 30 odd years when skating could have used help in developing? They cash in at the last minute when the scene is established enough to be a safe market to extract from, then they'll pull out like they did with ice skates when it's less popular, after taking out the smalltown skate shops that push the scene and care about it and moving to big 'rollersnakes' and JD sports type mass retailers.
Skateboarding is not a SPORT.

It's naive to think that large companies aren't gonna jump on any bandwagon they can to promote their products... It's just the way the world works... My 2c...

I totally agree. It's up to the 'consumer' to not buy the product and make the choice to not destroy the scene they love. Big sporting goods companies don't have feelings, don't care about anything - just a revenue producing machine. It's not malicious.
Like using an image of a massively non-corporate band to hawk some shitty shoes. It's not hateful, just lacking an understanding.

"This week, I have been mostly wearing...CLARKS..." (goes back into shed)
Good work on the wallabies. I've got them in black and beige, so comfy, but useless in the rain. I'm a recent convert to the vans and I'm lovin them, I was mad into the skate shoes but couldnt fit them into my cages so had to downsize. theyre relatively cheap, really comfortable and theres so much choice in styles. Vans for the win.
I got these cos theyre really tough sort of leather or something, well look like it at least. Not too fond of them though, got blisters from wearing them.
Were my favourite shoes, last years and so comfy, ive had four pairs.
Just bought these in black and oxblood, my dancing shoes!
