Hi Newcastle Polo ,How's it all going ? i have just cleaned out our spare room and found a black peaked "divided" cap . Any chance this belonged to any of you guys from your stay this August ? If you want to be reunited i'll post it up .
Cheers Harvey -

Don't think I'm gonna be able to make it through tonight guys. Trying to sort out some stuff at home. Will defiantly try and meet up later in the week or next week though.

Cheers Harvey, not mine though. Hope all's good with Cambridge polo.
Looking decidedly nasty, think I might be out for tonight as well.

Hopefully Alan's coming down on sun. He mentioned that exhibition at the Baltic with some photo of us playing. Anyone fancy a class trip down to see it before we play? 1 at Monument?

• #517

No takers on the cap front then i presume .
Hope all going well in Toon polo-land . Hope to see you next tournament . -
• #519
alright guys, i've just moved up from manchester - I'm well up for meeting you lot at a polo session or just for a ride! Do you have a regular night and location you play? Haven't got the polo bike up here yet but it would be cool to meet some other players anyway.
cheers, Rich

Nice one Rich, we used to play every Tuesday at about 6 in Gosforth but it isn't lit so we are searching for a new place to play through winter.
Hope to see you on Sunday if you can get down.
-
• #521
Did you guys have any luck finding anywhere to play last week?
-
• #522
Nah, we went round Discovery museum/college area, Saltwell Park, Bensham, Heaton, Jesmond and found a couple of great lit astroturf courts and a couple of almost alright but sloped car parks. Disappointment

meh. can't believe our crappy winter is going to spank us into polo submission.
i reckon if we push the couch up against the wall we could get a decent game in my front room. -
• #524
we need to find somewhere of make more people come down on a sunday.
ricky and oli have both mentioned the st james park car park but no one has gone and looked yet, i forgot about it on thursday. worth a look sometime
Hey everyone, long time no see - think the last post i left was before the great north run ride last year, sort of fell off the grid after i finished college. Im in china now teaching english. Very jealous of all the polo talk - should be back in the toon around june-july for a couple of months before uni.
Searching shenyang classifieds for a track frame at the moment, not going so good and winter is just round the corner, -20 degrees then, not much oppurtunity for cycling.
