Yep same. Not watched F1 properly for years but full intending on watching this weekends if I can find a stream

That news about the C4 coverage being so hobbled is a total bugger.

What a crock of shit.

Just watch the bits of the race shown in the highlights show on C4. I usually find the 'highlights' show has plenty of 'racing' to fast forward or gently snooze through.

The Netflix thing just makes me want uncensored audio from the pit wall during live coverage.

Practice sessions are currently being repeated on Sky.

This Lando Norris dude, driving a McLaren, is looking very promising, qualifying 10 positions ahead of his team-mate Sainz. He'll be one to keep an eye on as the season progresses!

Sainz had a punctured Williams in front of him for his fast lap.

New front wing done nothing, very few overtakes, lots of midfield cars trailing each other. Worrying up front.

I really wish the F1 season started somewhere other than Melbourne. It's always been a terrible track in terms of on-track overtaking. Hopefully Bahrain & China give more representative races.

Though Ferrari's PU struggles are a worry in terms of whether this season will be one to watch. Interested to hear more detail on the issues faced by Lewis/Seb today.

For the first time in my life I'm rooting for a Ferrari driver, really want LeClerc to do well... Bit of a nothing race really but nice to see Bottas get a win... Fastest lap was probably the most exciting thing that happened today...

Was disappointed that Ferrari didn't pit Leclerc to get fastest lap.

They really are failing to uphold their Dick Dasterdly reputation these days.

They should drop Melbourne from the calendar.
