  • Being able to come up with excuses like that, you could be an F1 driver yourself =P

truth hurts.... I forgive you :)

hes such a joke, " you ruined my fu**in head" says it all really....

  • ^hahaha!! superb!

    Told ya so =P

Let's just hope they have a new Chapman on the team or else it's gonna be a disappointing return.

  • Was just going to post the same news. Great to see the name back. But you're right, it would be horrendous if they shame the Lotus name and reputation if they fail tho.

  • Of course they'll be disappointing, as long as they beat the other new teams.

  • ^for sure..... if they keep their head above water for the first season...great.
I'm not saying they need to Win.

  • Of course they'll be disappointing, as long as they beat the other new teams.

They'll only be disappointing if they fall short of expectations, no one is likely to be expecting them to beat Brawn/RB/McLaren/Ferrari, so they won't be disappointed when they don't, but like you said, as long as they beat the other new teams (or any other Cossie engined car) they'll have done well, hopefully will stay in the sport and improve as the years go on.

  • Hey, all this chit chat about how they'll get on etc.....
It's brilliant news! that's the bottom line. Fantastic.
Another new player with an awesome heritage. Can't wait too see their car....

  • you must be very happy .. congrats... :)

I was only young but I remember when Senna was on the team. Good memories

  • hey, it's good for everyone.
Wt Honda & BMW pulling out over the last few year, it's a healthy injection.
Force India are inspirational at the moment and can only go to demonstrate that there is hope for those at the back of the pack (which of course in previous years would have been unheard of.)
    Yup, a really good sign.

  • If it's BRG with a yellow stripe or JPS/Gold Leaf colours i'll die a happy man =D

Can't help but think it's just gonna taint the name though, let's hope i'm wrong on that.

  • So! it's true.... has has been the case with most previous 'scandals'
I must say, i'm quite shocked with this one. Naughty boys tsk!

  • So Briatore's dodgy? Well, what a surprise, who'd've thunk it?? The man's got sleaze and corruption written all over his boat

  • BMW have sold the team, so there could be 14 teams next year, 28 cars only 26 spaces on the grid!!!.
Renault are in the shit!! so may only be 26 cars next season.

  • all ready for Singapore then?

good to read Kimis committed to Ferrari for 2010, still, will depend how the next few races go I guess? - 3 drivers, 2 cockpits...

  • This gave me a little chuckle:

  • ha! spot on

  • First practise is on the BBC website at 11. And Sir Jackie is in the commentary box for second practise.

  • Hahahaha!

RG crashed off at the same corner NP did last year causing a red flag.

  • Hahahaha!

RG crashed off at the same corner NP did last year causing a red flag.

    Iiiiiirony

  • Love the fact that among all the new changes to the circuit to make it better, they haven't put a crane on that corner.

  • Great win for Hamilton at Singapore. I like the night races :)

  • Gotta admit, I did doze off for a bit during that one, Singapore/Valencia are horrible tracks for racing, the ariel shots of Singapore with the motorway passing over the track were nice though, though that's not what they're meant for is it?

The fact that there's more of these soulless street circuits/middle eastern desert tracks popping up on the F1 calender was made even worse by the news that Spa, the greatest circuit (in the world, not just F1) is off the calendar unti 2026 at least just makes me lose faith in the "sport" thanks to a bunch of NIMBYs who decide to move beside a race track then complain about the noise, it's gonna set a horrible precedent and i'm sure this won't be the last iconic race track to be closed for this reason.

Still, at least there's Moto GP.

  • Soooo, Kimi at McLaren then? =P
