aarrgghhh.....Paypal have stopped me being able to recieve payments.
Because of the fact that all the payments are the same amount they're seeing it as a betting or gambling or competition thing which is apparently not allowed :(

if it doesn't work i'll have to set up a bank account for people to transfer into instead and then figure out how to retrieve the money that has already been paid.

Really sorry for the hassle to you all but i'm gonna refund all your money and set up a bank account for it to be payed into instead.
Paypal won't allow any kind of gambling and i didn't even think about that when i set this up.
I hope this doesn't cause too much inconvienience to you.
I'll add the bank account details once i have it set up.

Not too disastrous, I shouldn't think - people have been publishing their account number/sort code tuples in the back of Private Eye for the past several decades now. Beyond paying in money there's nothing much one can do with them.

I don't use PayPal and therefore hadn't been able to go on the list. What about having a raffle party sometime when people can pay in cash, or perhaps having a raffle at the Track Day or other events?

as long as you give away tickets in exchange for a (voluntary) donation then it should be all good.

Everybody should now have had a full refund...i'll try and set up a bank account either today or tomorrow just for the bag payments to be transferred to...i hope this doesn't cause any problems for anybody as i'd hate the amount to drop because of paypals rules :(

Ok...my other option is that myself and whoever else wants to join/direct me does the grandslam for the next two weeks, collecting peoples ticket money at any of the grandslam venues?
