Hi Claus,
All information in the update section of the OP. I Don't know what it is OP
Information about departure time.... and how fast will be? Thanks@ Oliver

Marco, it's claus' ride, so that it's up to him to say how fast he wants to go. As I've said before, and claus is saying as well, don't worry too much about the distance. It's not the most important factor. In this case, it looks as if this ride is going to be quite hilly, so if I were you, I'd focus on whether you want to do that many hills.

Right! I was not worry about the distance, more about speed and how difficult it is (Hills).....so now I know! And now is just up to me.
Cheers guys, i will probably join.

Although I have no real desire to go through Newhaven (turning off in Piddinghoe might be better), and Peacehaven (although on the meridian line) is a grim misnomer, and the road from there to Brighton pretty horrible in terms or crap road surface, fast traffic and, if heading west, a guaranteed headwind all the way!

dave4, you are right turning at Piddinghoe sounds good.

claus, is it OK not to bring a route sheet and rely on you to do all the navigation?
I'd quite like to continue to Brighton, will you be doing that bit, too?
I'm not being lazy, just don't have enough time to prepare--I love navigating otherwise.

ha!
i just realised this is tomorrow!... i thought it was next weekend.
which means i wint be coming!.... i am up for doing a bit of distance in the next couple of weeks though, if anyone else is.
sorry for the calendar fail. -
• #39
You can rely on my navigation and the gps, will bring a couple of printed route sheets tomorrow morning just in case. I recon it will be a fairly compact group so staying together should not be an issue. I will certainly continue to Brighton and most likely take the train back from there.

Funny, it looks as if there's a Corny-shaped hole in the middle of the list.

i'm surprised that there are so few people doing this, given:
- the weather is going to be great
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/se/london_forecast_weather.html - it's a really nice route down to the beach
- there will be ice cream and beer
- there is some meaning to the ride (that no-one really understands but i'm sure claus will explain).
- actually, maybe that is another reason for coming along - claus will explain what the hell the ride is about!
- the weather is going to be great
oliver, good to hear you are still in. rob, no need to be worried about keeping up will go in a social-stady pace. good oppertunity for getting in some base miles for DD. will give an update on the route tomorrow. anyway the profile will probably call for a mid 60s GI.
