I've ran regular Duranos front and back for the past 12 months, no punctures, no problems. And that's riding on everything too - road, cobbles, bit of off-road - no complaints whatsoever.

I may have just gotten unlucky and the 2nd puncture may have simply hit the first hole but this morning I saw the cut across the face of the tyre and its a good 1-2cm across. Not good.
Even my Conti Ultra sports gave me no punctures in nearly 2 years of everyday riding until they wore away.

Suicide ped head-butted me this morning when she stepped out into my front wheel. Nearly took my eye out with her cigarette. Trufax and on topic.
Please, take the tyre stuff to the million threads about tyres. I don't read any of those.

I nearly headbutted a guy as I leaned taking a tight corner the other day, it was quite amusing.

2 punctures in 2 days is an Epic Oh Shit moment for me.
Schwalbe Duranos are definitely not winter tyres. In fact not fit for any season at all. Piece of shit.
They are definitely not wet weather tyres. Very thin and cut up way too easily. changing all my stable across to GP4 Seasons immediately.
Do Schwalbe even tyres?
I ran durano for 2 years without a single puncture.

One of her shins was smarting from contact with the sharp leading edge of my pedal. And her ciggie was mushed.
Second time I've been headbutted by a ped. First time was v. spectacular. Bloke walking along pavement, calls out to person he can see up ahead that he will meet them "in the shop" while simultaneously leaping sideways into the road without looking. I was riding in the same direction as him and was just about to pass him as he leapt. I received a flying head-butt. Had to sit down for a few minutes. If I'd been driving a car, he'd have been seriously injured or dead. Stupid fucker walked off without a word.

Cruising down Victoria Embankment on a fixie, hands off the bars and my chain came off as I was riding. Result was a faceplant, I'm just grateful there was no traffic behind...

If anyone is having 'oh shit' moments spare a thought for this guy
this reminds me, a month or 2 back i was home away from London for a couple of days, on my way home in the car i saw a guy in torrential rain smashing it down a hill faster than i would ride my fixed gear down it on what i think was a 36er unicycle, absolute nutter.

What is going on with the guy on a unicycle....?

He's unicycling.

Front wheel stuck in tram rail three times.
I don't understand how people do that, though know people do. Just ensure your front wheel is close to a 90 angle with the tram line when going over it. The trick is to quickly turn it to make the angle, then when over turn it back again, then you don't have to switch your momentum.
Saying that I got my front wheel stuck between some weird concrete things designed to make cars go slowly. The result was a hilarious cleet fail - tried to uncleet but the action just pulled me to the ground much faster. No real harm. Now I walk over that bit.

By riding parallel to the tramlines maybe?..
Yeah, swapped over from much thinner nylons for winter, the Durano plus are top - I wondered if the Durano skids would be even better, but happy as it stands anyway.
