  • It's too late to pose now, Murph, everyone saw the log.

  • Forever following me to the kitchen in the hope of a bite of my food...

  • Yup, got one of them.
She will never be more than a few inches from your side if you have food or are preparing it. The number of times I have nearly fallen over her on the kitchen...

  • Bottomless pits on legs!

  • Also have one of them.

Not ashamed to admit that the only reason I put a couch in my office was because I knew Otto would love it!

  • I mean there have to be some people with cute fish/tortoises/giant African land snails/ravens etc out there

  • This is Zoidberg, my late pet West African Rainbow Crab. He died in 2004. He led a good life, in a huge riverbank/riverbed tank eating shrimp and fruit.

  • Ha, you can see precisely where my old flat was by the reflected view out of the window.

  • Now that's what I'm talking about.

  • How was the posthumous bisque?

  • Is she trying to incubate you?

  • Meagre.

Actually, when he died, we chucked him off our balcony into the Thames. Well, that's what we tried to do. When we threw him a seagull swooped down and caught him! Quite a nice funeral if you ask me...

  • I could certainly do with hatching into something more beautiful

  • What am I supposed to post here? Owl? Pike? Crow? Starling? Duck? Python? Falcon?

    I pity this thread

  • Fine then

  • Me and my wife love rats. We'll definitely get some in the future, when our elderly cat isn't a factor anymore.

  • All of them

  • Thread needs more dogs

  • What am I supposed to post here?

    Less cheek, moar pets

  • This is Gary, our rescue greyhound, only has been with us 6 months. Such a calm charming fellow, goodest boy!

  • And regardless of what people say, with proper introductions, greyhounds can get along with other dogs (all shapes and sizes) and play ball 🎾. Here with Dora (brother in law’s terrier)

  • Yup some greyhounds will play with a ball. Caleb, our old ex racer, would just look at you with a "you threw it, you fetch it yourself" disdainful look....

    Lovely brindle btw!

Dylan our black greyhound loves chasing balls and will even bring them back, which was something of a surprise to us when we got him.

The thing with other dogs is often that ex racers have never seen any other type of dog apart from other greyhounds, so they can get a bit spooked by some dogs - particularly those with flat faces and no tails, as they can't interpret the behavioural queues as easily. But like most things, with proper introductions and training this can be overcome.
