I can see his tail and then along the wall his little face staring back at you.

Tesla is now too large to run straight up the curtains, sadly.

^ Sarcasm, right? Surely that's a win!
Maia is at a stage where she knows she isn't allowed to, appears to be aware of her larger size but says to herself "what the hell, I'm going to jump on/up/in it anyway". This, together with the impressive but overly excited gymnastics she performs every time I come home has resulted in several breakages, spillages and near misses. These daffodils were the focus of her interest for a good 3 minutes today:

Finn the dog says hi.

Hi Finn! Why is your Christmas tree still up? ;)

Oho I see what you did there. Your real name is Jake, not Jack AICMFP!

Chester's been earning his keep today. He chased an intruding tomcat all the way down the garden and then sat on guard at the fence for a while to make sure it didn't come back.
Not bad for a toothless 10 year old :-)

Is 10 that old? James is 8 and seems just as he was when he was half this age.

Not really ( for a pampered housecat ). If anything, Chester appears to be acting younger than ever.

The vet told me that James is now officially a geriatric, but I've yet to see him slow down. Hopefully we've got another 8 years of his company to go.

No reason at all to not expect James to reach 16. I think between 3 - 7 years seems to be their physical prime though. Of course, this is only an opinion and I have no proof.
Still, I'm on the internet. Proof is for the real world..

My girlfriends' family cat is a 15 year old tabby. She's absolutely fine.

Milly went in for a dental last friday - which was a bit unnerving due to having to be put under anaesthetic for it... Thankfully only had to have 2 teeth out (small ones - lower front middle)
Here she is showing off her pearly whites (and her ear tats):

Oh, it wasn't in a negative way, I love greyhounds. If only my flat was big enough.

We've had a cat reach 22 years old, and regularly ones that reach 18. -

Srsly - if you want any advice, give me a shout.
Ex-racing greyhounds are wonderful pets and there are so many needing homes due to the disposable way they are viewed in the racing industry :(

^ this.
They also take a lot less exercise than you expect, take em to the park for a half an hour sprint in the morning and again for a bit longer in the evening, they'll spend the rest of the day lying around.
Seriously, I used to go running with mine, if we were out for longer than an hour I'd have to drag them home!
Not the smartest dogs though...

One of mine tried to chase a squirrel up a tree, not really a good idea when running at around 20mph... Squirrel runs up the tree, greyhound runs into tree.
bottom of the towel. Is it a rabbit?
