Majory fuckery. :( This morning shortly before I was supposed to be taking both kittens for speying, the wife spotted TigerLily chewing on something and suspected it to be the stamen from a lily flower. Took her to the vets and they're are going to keep her under observation and on IV fluids for the next three days to see if she succumbs to the toxins. Everything crossed...
Sorry to hear that- James used to paint himself with lily pollen, I never realised that if he'd try to eat a stamen that'd be dangerous for him.

Yeah, they can be poisoned from any part. I think the pollen is most worried about because it sticks to the coat and gets licked off. Picked LittleBee up from the vets earlier. She didn't seem to recognise me and kept hissing at me. I think she might be coming round a bit now. The nurse said TigerLily was in good spirits and hadn't showed any signs of illness. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Glad TigerLily is feeling ok :-) Why do pets insist on making us worry so much :-(

crank_girl, sounds like quite a day! Hopefully TigerLily will be just fine.
Maia's latest trick is jumping up on to the stove WHILE I'M COOKING. There's always been a pot or pan on it so she's not yet landed on a naked flame but she terrifies me.
It's all a bit tense round here. The kittens are getting bigger and bolder and cry to go outside.
The older cat Scintilla seems to be getting less tolerant of them and increasingly disturbed. She's started being a bit vicious with us, makes awful squalling noises and has now started sitting outside all day, even in the rain, with an angry look on her face. We don't really know what to do.

Awesome news about Tigerlily, I have had my fingers crossed.
Wolfie's turned into a handsome lad! I think he's begrudging Mr Smug the penguin for nicking the Shepherds Pie before he had the chance to get to it ...

Great to hear!

Thanks all, real relief. Unfortunately the time apart seems to have driven a bit of a wedge between her and littlebee but hopefully they will love each other again soon.

Kind offer, but what about Moses ;-)
Awesome collar!! I'd be tempted to get one for Banksy but considering the state her current one is in from scratching it I suspect it wouldn't stay intact for very long!
