A new arrival to the family.

It's a terrible photo, but it turns out that she is allergic to cameras, and just turns into a blur when they are pointed at her.

Thank you - just after I took that we went out for a walk with her and Caleb (our other hound).
Unfortunately milly stuck her nose under a garden door and got bitten on the end of it by another dog!
Cue the greyhound scream of death and a fair bit of blood - its healing up now but she's not looking quite so pretty :(

Daisy: the little critter.

Speaking of injuries, Daisy got bitten last week :(

Some stupid labradoodle owned by a local old codger attacked her and bit her on the belly, she's had 9 stitches. Daisy was on a lead, labradoodle was not. Apparently this didn't stop the old codger (an ex-lawyer) threatening to sue (for what?) and spreading pathetic dog rumours around the village.

On the bright side, Daisy's belly looks kind of pig-like, which is quite cute. Here's an action shot from happier times...

Owning dogs and walking them in rural areas is a funny one. My mum has a miniature schnauzer which she walks along the banks of the River Itchen north of Winchester. She got bitten (she did, not the dog) by a yappy little shit of a dog the other week and the other owners, despite apologising at the scene, have since gone all royston vasey and started spreading bullshit around the local villages.

People are twats, generally.
