does your cat have one blue and one brown eye?
Yellow for both. I think the different reflections are (and I'm making this up) something to do with the red/green thing that differs from eye to eye.

Jesús, the bunny. She had some gender issues as a kitten but despite the male name, she's all woman now. -

That's it- otherwise cats crash into each other when passing in corridors and so forth

You mean port & starboard photoreceptor cells. The cells in the left eye reflect red, those in the right eye reflect green.
It's how cats navigate in water ways and ocean crossings.
Indeed...

Got to share this...my mother's dog went walkabout yesterday and this is the report I received - funny because there's a happy ending:
"One of the parents (mum works in a school) insisted on taking Poppy (silly yellow lab) to the park with her own dog at lunchtime. After an hour Poppy decided that she had had enough and left. She crossed the road with someone holding up the traffic, went down Gloucester Road, turned left to Collingham college but when the door was shut kept going and went to Burberrys in Knightsbridge. I had a call from outside to say that someone was holding her and then another call five minutes later to say that she had left down the road at speed towards Harrods. The mother responsible drove me there, and someone at the side of the road asked if I had lost my dog because she'd gone towards South Kensington at speed, looking very distressed and breathing strangely. We followed down the road and had another call from someone else who said that they had her. Five minutes later another call to say she had run off.
One hour and thirty minutes after she had first set off I had a call to say that someone had her on a rope. Poor little Poppy she went for such a long journey and was obviously totally disorientated and so pleased to be collected and taken back home. She is now fast asleep at home!"
Naughty Poppy.

Trying to integrate the new kitten with our more established feline house-mate:
The power of cat milk. Once it was all gone Charlie (the adult cat) hissed at Dixon (the kitten). But as long as there is milk to be had, they are the bestest of friends.

Horatio- James really didn't want to accept Higgs at first, but now they seem to get on, it just takes a little time (which I am sure you know):
