Venison based D/D Hills dried food.
The vet thinks that she was alergic to fish, which might have been causing so many problems for her.

Not quite the right thread but as good a place to start as any..
I have a newish Kitty kwitter which Molly never really took too and Mrs Brave hated the thought of her using the toilet anyway (I was left alone at Pet at Home)..
She never got past the red stage.. Anyway. It's as new as, boxed and has the training DVD etc.
It's free (or a cup of monmouth coffee) to any forumner collect from Lambeth/Waterloo/London Bridge.

Litter Kwitter. There's an entire forum, which is nearly as big as LFGSS, devoted to the subject. We have been training our for months. Agonisingly slow.

I know I should have persevered with it but a) Molly would just get frustrated with it and b) Mrs Brave hated it..

We (the humans) hate it too. But the goal is a litter free house, so it seems worth the effort.

I said I have a Hamster, and I meant business.
Here it is, Joe the Hamster.
One of my mates got Joe for his GF and she didn't like it.
Poor fella needed a home. Well, he eats Pastel de Nata for breakfast now.
Happy days. After acting a bit weird for the last 3 days we decided to get Joe to the Vet.
I could feel something wasn't right, specially his movements were quite conditioned
and I started feeling a lump under his paw. The vet confirmed today, there's a 99%
chance of it being a tumor, and taking from how fast it appeared it should be serious.
There's not much we can do, we've only had him for 3 weeks and it's tearing us apart..
Quite sad today.. only hope he's not in pain but the Vet did tell us to consider bringing him
back to, well... .Tumors apparently are quite common in Hamsters due to the how they inbreed, and being such a small animal it is quite difficult to be sure or to treat it at all.
I'm sorry to bring back my shitty news..
Fucking gutted. -

Ah, that's sad news.

it took me a month of diligent watching the cats to get them to do it on their own. they were 4 and 6 months when I started. one bengal and one applehead siamese. it helped that I was working from home at the time so anytime i would hear them in the litter i would run and put them up on the toilet. they caught fast but they needed helping because they would be kind of confused.
it is so worth it. i would stick to it.
there is a yahoo group dedicated to this. its huge.We (the humans) hate it too. But the goal is a litter free house, so it seems worth the effort.

In the video on the index page it shows the cat going on worktops where food is being prepared. WhoTF let's their cat do that anyway? Even if the cat were to use the toilet thing they walk on the floor therefore have crud on their paws...

Not a pet, but, I don't know, this was just so sweet:

We try to keep the cats off the kitchen surfaces, but it's impossible. The little one is immune to water-spray, and is otherwise totally fearless when she senses a potential snack opportunity.

You piss in the bath?
Baths were invented for bathing..

woah now
Look I love peeing when standing- but in the comfort of home- there is nothing more decadent than a sitting piss.Outside peeing with a view is the best though...
my favorite spot was on a mountain in NZ where you could survey the whole ski resort, but no one could tell you were taking a leak. -

I think you lost your credibility once you sat down to pee in cat litter.
it's a fair cop
