  • new bird. :)

  • who's a pretty boy?

  • it's heartbreaking to hear, love to you both, henry and mike.

  • Who brought it up to Edinburgh from London last week Lexi? :P How is he settling in?

  • Labrador George apparently can't stand up this morning, very worried about him.
Have to stay here today, but as soon as possible, getting home.

    fingers crossed.....

Very sorry to hear this Mike.

Henry, that's awful news. Fingers crossed he'll pull through, they're tough little creatures. Thoughts are with you and him. Getting that kind of news is absolutely heartbreaking; nearly 4 years ago our 8 year old Lurcher, Inca was diagnosed with cancer in her foot that would spread to fatal parts if we didn't do anything very, very quickly. We were given the choice of giving her 6 painless months (max.) on meds, or to cut her whole leg off, and give her the rest of her natural life. We made the obvious choice and to this day she's still hopping around on 3 legs...

That's her in the middle, flanked by her two sisters...

  • shit news Henry and Mike, condolences to you both

  • sorry about George he looks like a nice cat - this is such a great photo

  • Our backyard is being sprayed by all the cats passing through. We have 1 cat. and our neighbor has 1 cat. Everything has been fine for over a year. They didn't spray.
Then a few weeks ago this full male stray cat came by and since then all the other cats decided to spray the fence and the side of the shed. More strange cats have come through since then and I think they are all spraying.
We put a collar on the 1st stray with a note to see if it belonged to anyone but no one contacted us or bothered taking the note or the collar off. He was covered in bloody scars all over his head and front legs, He had bald patches and cuts on his front legs and sides of the head. A cat rescue lady took him. He is very friendly so he will be adopted quickly once they check him out and remove his giant balls.
But now our back yard is smelling like cat spray and other stranger cats are coming through. I searched for suggestions but they are all for indoor cats with small area to contain. I not sure what to do. Luckily, our cat is not spraying inside the house.

you can see the stray here, we called him Monty.
    monty video

just found out that Monty is healthy FIV free and no scabies and that he got adopted by a nice family after he had his giant balls cut off.

  • MY God fathers senile father used antifreeze mixed with salmon and a shotgun to get rid off an unwanted cat.

Both the gun and salmon were confiscated.
