i reckon just pic a date. As long as it's giving people enough notice then it should be ok. We'll never have a date where everyone can turn up but with enough notice most people will get there at some point during the day.

Not sure how to tie in the fundraising - maybe just ask for donations? or charge a fee for the buffet/after party? (on another note - maybe there could be a charge for registering for the next league)

An idea I've been thinking of is a sort of challenge/grudge match day the following saturday, March 28.
In aid of the EHBPC, a team can pay a fee (fiver? tenner?) and challenge any other league team (maybe the challenged team matches the fee?). Unlimited (within reason) challenges per team but they pay each time.

Could these games possibly count toward the leagues final standings?

The original idea was to charge per challenge and charge for the buffet. Of course any extra donations will be accepted. An extra £40 was donated at the Vday tourney...
