  • Bung it on the train? Overland station's only a few minutes away.

Have got the train from Dulwich to LB a couple of times when I was too knackered to ride home but I often stay in Sth Ldn on a sunday night now and wouldn't really want to leave a track bike locked up outside work. I guess there's the buying more locks option..

or big cog one side small cog on the other and flip the wheel... 2 bolts and your brake is off...

Hadn't really thought of that as an option but would I be allowed to ride around the track with two cogs on...and that also means more faff/potential for me to fuck up a really nice bike somehow

    container spaces -
andyp's right. this week we're working out how much space we've got and then will allocate to spaces to people on the waiting list. contact me to be put on the list.

    Will do! Ta : )

Push (bike) comes to shove I'll just have to man up and ride it. And leave plenty of time to get across London on track gearing!

  • I've registered my interest, I'll be there for the 3rd of march for training.

  • In the meantime I would do what smiff said. I did it for a year and is not a big deal. Is ok to ride with 2 cogs and loads of people who don't want leave the bike at HH do it -

Overground is ok if you connect with southern trains at surrey quays, I think, you only have to ride the bike for 2 blocks but it takes ages

  • Ace, thanks Tika. And ta Smiff for original suggestion : )

  • hey clive. received and understood.

  • Cheers Tom.

  • Im going for the 10th March induction say hi if you see me

  • Rain, rain, go away, come again, another day

  • After my pathetic attempts last year, I am planning to be back on the track this year. Hoping to be there Saturday. How fit is everyone? I am I gonna be spat straight out the back if I dare try intermediates??

  • im gonna try and come along for the induction tomorrow... just wondering if theres a dress code - I tried on my bib shorts this week (cheap ones from decathlon) and they're pretty uncomfortable - and have no jersey. is lycra/track mitts/jersey compulsory?

  • They won't let you ride if you're not wearing a skinsuit and earo booties.

  • i just decided to use my head and found that pretty quick. ta anyway..

  • They won't let you ride if you're not wearing a skinsuit and earo booties.

Are you going to be wearing Lucy Garner's skinsuit tomorrow hoops?

  • Of course.

  • Here is a picture of some P51 Mustangs for you.

    Cadillac of the sky!

  • Motherfucker.
You have spoiled my last remaining place of sanctuary with your miscilaneous and meaningless bullshit!

  • You can't deny they are things of beauty. Vrooom.

  • i want to ride tomorrow but can't, so i am hoping for rain.

    does that make me nasty?

  • Ha im not the only one then ^

  • If it rains tomorrow I'll be proper fucked off. After track I'm supposed to be picking up my shiny new bike from the shiny bike shop and riding it home. If the roads are wet they can jolly well keep it till next week.

  • I can't ride but NO RAIN because I am NICE :)

  • Aw, we'll miss you Tika.

  • I step out of the door bike in hand and its drizzling. not even real rain.. pissed.

  • Are the training sessions on this morning? Is the new surface ridable with that bit of rain?
