Lambos, Ferraris and the like are driven by some seriously shady and connected characters, not just spoilt bastards.
You're lucky you didn't get shot... -

Beautiful morning, despite my raging hangover, made even better by crashing into a brand spanking new Lamborghini.
I see him ahead of me in a side road, and I just* know* he is going to pull out in front of me, daddies little boy can't drive daddies car properly. So I have slowed right down to about 5 mph by the time I cycle straight into his gleaming wing. I could of avoided him completely of course, but I wanted to see if I could damage his car. I was contemplating not slowing down, whakcing him full pelt and see if I could of gotten some nice new wheels and the old injuries claim. Anyway, it made my morning, the look of panic on his face at impact - 2 seconds
Hmmmm....I'm with Scott on this one.

I tend to prefer making a point whilst passing these kind of drivers by merely making my presence felt by a hard tap to the bonnet/window. This often puts the frighteners up them, forcing them to pay extra attention in the future.

I do deal with them. By cycling very quickly. Not telling strangers on the internet to fuck off

Years ago there was an intersection near my house that used to cause alot of problems it was a busy road and very hard to get out of.
One day an old lady didn't give way as she should have, the driver that was "in the right" pulled out and crashed into her to teach her a lesson. The situation could have been avoided he had stoped to let her go.
Ended with her having a heart attack and dying so I guess she learned her lesson as well right?
he got done for dangerous driving.
(this is a true story) -

I think people need to put this in perspective. Cyclists are getting hit and dying out there all the time, many times because of careless drivers. I've never heard of a driver getting killed because of a cyclist not looking and pulling out on him.
A driver pulls out in front of a cyclist, the cyclist decides to run into the car, no damage done to anyone, and you all defend the driver! Crazy!
Exactly.

I'd like to think the driver learnt his lesson. Yes there are idiots on the road but the vast majority of them are completely oblivious to just how dangerous they are. Call me a whiney bitch (that's not an invitation) but I don't think it's fair that they should carry on with their day completely unfazed and unaware of the damage they could have inflicted to another human because of their incompetence as a driver. I'm not sure if riding into them is the answer but then harsh words don't seem enough sometimes.
Crispin and Erik...there space on that fence for one more?

shame it wasn't a 'bright' colour...then the 'experienced cyclist' may have had time to spot it and avoid a collision.......oh...he did!
red/green colour blindness might negate any advantage a brighter tone would haev given?? just a thought...

Not being funny Scott. I don't know you, but I do know that whenever there is a big storm on this forum, you are usually bang in the centre of it. So I am going to assume that you are a confrontational person and ignore what you say from this point forward
