How old are you MikeC?

Nah, winter has just dragged on too long... we've forgotten the love and are all snarky as a result of continued lack of sun.
You have no idea how much i hope you are right.
Actually, I think you probably do have a pretty good idea. As do a lot of other people, notably BDW.

Em - The guy pulled out straight in front of me to turn right. But he could not turn right as oncoming cars would not let him in. So he basically blocked the WHOLE road. I had absolutely no where to go other than cycle into his front driver side wing at about 3mph! - Which I could have avoided doing as I could have stopped completely in time. But I wanted to wake him up a bit
Yet more of the truth comes out.
So he didn't actually pull out on you, or cut you up, he just happened to be pulled out waiting for a space to turn right when you arrived at the scene? This is sounding less and less like his fault every time you post.

I think the fact that the Lambo is expensive is less relevant than the fact that it guzzles fossil fuels at an alarming rate.
Having said that, in April I am off to Corby racing circuit to drive ferrari's and lambourghini's really really fast, hopefully sideways. Hell yeah, that's gonna be fun.
It's alarmingly easy to take pleasure in doing something that you know is morally unjustifiable. In fact, it is alarmingly hard to NOT do so.
Hopefully when we do so, we do so in small ways that don't cause much harm or suffering. i.e. - try and be alan partridge, not alf garnett. Or somthing.
I did this last year at the circuit near Southampton. Can't remember what it was called, but it was a fantastic day out. Caning it round the track in a Formula Renault. Absolutely Ace. Even managed to take out a few cyclists en-route

Don't worry, I'm betting on the same thing. Otherwise it's going to be time for some moderation.
Where's the love gone? Fuck knows... people are so uptight and serious and snappy. The whole forum needs a serious dose of chillax.
The idea that the forum would just moderate itself is a social experiment. I've never seen it work, but with fellow cyclists I honestly believed a fundamental respect for each other would see us through, but that doesn't appear to be the case. If I get proved wrong on it just being a miserably long winter I'll consider seriously having a group of wise old men moderate the place instead, together with the risk of offending loads of people by basically kicking the idiots who just want to spend their lives arguing off the site. So at least there's a plan B, it's just not a plan I wanted to ever put into practise as this site, for me, was supposed to be the easy and fun one.

But will it do any good?
Serioulsy though, if this guy had pulled out like he did in front of a less aware, brakeless rider, there would have been blood and damage
