would anyone be interested in a Genesis Day 01 crosser?
the frame is the alfine model, but its an XT rear hub, with a single speed kit.
Brakes are Avid BB7 road pull, with Odyssey medium length levers on Bontrager low rise bars.
I do love it, but I also love my motorbike and I cant afford to take the tests to ride it.

Anybody got a 5/6speed rear wheel kicking about for free/beer/swap? I'm calling time on the freewheel on my commuten-beater being choosy as to when it wants to engage and actually have a relationship with the rest of my drivetrain. I have horrible visions of being in the middle of a junction soon, and my cranks doing the whole, spin freely without the wheels turning, thing that they're fond of at the moment.. Plus it hurts my junk when the freewheel skips and I go from pedalling hard out the saddle to sat on the saddle in a matter of moments. Tough life.

Dogtemple, how big is that Witcomb frame? I love me some bright coloured bikes!
-
• #746
its 21" - id love to build it up myself but its too small for me, i only bought it for the headset. it would look good with your orbit! it really is pretty damn bright.
-
• #747
It is lovely but it's too small for me too, 21" comes out at 53-54cm right? I'm about a 56-58cm rider :/
-
• #748
yeah bang on 54cm. youre probably same sort of height as me then im 6'2 and its clearly too small.
its a shame as ive lashed it up with some parts in the past and it looks awesome when sorta complete.

after a pair of cheap dual pivot brake calipers for a commuter beater, something good and functional would be awesome. can collect etc
Not abandoning the skidder lifestyle. Just moved over to old aluminium. Liking the stiffness. If I can get a mudguard on this new one, might as well move on the pug.
