liquidation sale - recent assesment of finance has revealed an imminent need of money in the near future, so potentially up for grabs are:
ipod touch 8gb - cracked glass in the top corner, but it doesn't obscure the screen, still holds its charge impeccably.
wesc alp horn headphones in brown and yellow
korg kaossilator, the first gen one, ltd edition in pink
2010 kona world bike, hardly ridden - bought this convincing myself I needed something to ride to uni when it rained, but wound up taking a train most of the times it did 'cause im a pussy. 18inches in size.
http://www.konaworld.co/bike.cfm?content=worldbikeBianchi Pista - chrome one, again, in mighty good condition. pretty much as stock, save clips/straps. It's got bullhorns and a brand new concor on it right now, which I can leave on or put the stock ones back on depending on the cash, I'm likely to want to hold on to the saddle though. 53cm?
no pictures right now, as I'm at my parents. I know I haven't put any prices up either: all this is being sold extremely reluctantly. I'm fortunate to be a situation where I have some kind of financial backup from family, if I need it. I'd much, much rather not have to do this, but it does mean I can afford to hold out for somewhere at least near the price I want to get for these.
like I say, it's not as though I want to sell any of this, but if you want to buy it and can offer a sensible price, let me know because I'm probably in no position to refuse!

Any Brightonians flogging anything ss/fixed bikewise? Drop or bullbars preferred and shamefully after riding SS MTB for several years the larger Langster tubed frame rather appeals.
I have a 31" ish inseam and am 5"9 so looking around the 52-54cm I suppose
Cheers
Thought I replied to this but it isn't showing up!
I possibly have a 07 langster (rusty red skulls version).
Housemates want me to get rid of a bike so I might have to part with it.Let me know if your interested.

I'm considering selling the Holdsworth to cover this whole being alive thing I've been trying out recently. Most of you have seen it, I'll sort pics later.
I want to price it fairly but am prone to pricing things too low.
The set-up is:
Holdsworth 1969 shop special 531 frame
Campag GS crankset
Campag record headset
Campag record levers
Vintage looking wheelset (Formulas to open sports with alpine spokes)
GB stem
Shimano un54 bb
Raleigh bars
Brooks leather bartape
Panaracer 23c tyresIs £400 too much?

also got a pair of charge risers in blue which can be seen in the picture, good condition. a BEATER front wheel from a 1980s bianchi and soon a single speed rear wheel from a fuji track 2009 which can also be seen in the picture, fixed side threaded... but these awesome parts could all be combined into a trendy whip for the man about town...
if any of this is interesting to anyone i can take pics.............. -

Create frames as polo bikes remind me of when Cedric's unipack got totalled at polo. The front fork got snapped like a twig. He then came back two weeks later on the same bike but with a carbon fork!!

Argh, does anyone have 3x294mm Silver D/B Spokes kicking about in their toolbox?!
-
• #273
Oh I miss that fork, bloody thieves :(
Got a pompino one now.Yes create bike are ok, but don't count on it being durable. Just never used quick release wheels up front, a solid axle will give further structural strength to the forks. My frame is holding up pretty well and thinking about it, the forks may have been crashed before I got the bike. And was probably coldset back in place, hence being weak.
Also, having no canti mounts on will penalise you somewhat, no-one I play with now are on fixed and they are mostly running dual V-brake. In other words, get yourself a cheap beater to start with and move on to a pompino when you want to play seriously.
