  • This is on my list...

    Holy crap! You posted!!

  • Excellent! Let's arrange and for any other miscreants on this thread that fancy it. I'd suggest somewhere central as a good meeting point for all?

I imagine Stonehenge will be late...

  • MG you're coming, simply because you owe everyone a pint for posting that fucking Tudor Pelagos.

  • In two months from now just think how much more complete and joyous your life will feel. You'll look down at your wrist and know what a great time you're having....all thanks to me. I'm not even getting a ring let alone the ceremony or dress.

So make mine a white Russian

  • Nice watch, Soul. Very nice.

I thought for a long time about getting an Omega. I want a watch with a divers type bezel and I was interested in the Planet Ocean for a while but I've decided against that in the end. Going for something else...

Oh and if anyone is thinking about getting a new Oris ever, give me a shout by pm, I may be able to get you a very decent discount.

  • The Speedie is amazing. On Omega's mesh bracelet especially for me.

  • I'm also an Oris fan

  • I'm also an Oris fan

    I'm out.

  • I meant

    I'm a VanUden fan

  • I meant

    I'm a VanUden fan

  • The Speedy Pro is the best watch ever made and it looks best on the stainless steel bracelet that Soul ordered.
Velcro straps are ridiculous unless you are actually wearing it over a space flight suit, and leather straps don't suit it as well as steel on those nice turned lugs. They look nice on the flat lugged pre-Pro versions though.

Not that I am biased of course

  • I imagine Stonehenge will be late...

I promise not to wear my Lolex...

  • If you want a divers, how about a 3000m divers...

I think I'd take this over the horrors normally posted here

  • I think I'd take this over the horrors normally posted here

    This single statement speaks volumes.

  • But look at the shiny colours!

  • :-D

*refuses to be like everyone else and their rolex.

  • I'm unlike a lot of people here in that I like Rolex.

  • Automatic from Rolex's Chinese factories, suprisingly acurate though and everyone thinks it's the real deal...

Even the second hand 'sweeps' rather than 'ticks'!

  • I've just made my own moody one. Some Rolox have "underline dials". I present the "strike-through dial".

This, a 'catalogue watch' of the right dimensions, and with some far eastern parts,

    Became this;

A Sharpie through the brand name makes certain of its provenence.

    everyone needs a hobby

  • I miss my air king 5700. Ill repeat my plea...if anybody sees a 5700 in good nick let me know.

  • Ah, now the outpouring of love for Rolies...
