À 222 in steel is a nice release, but prices in the watches industry are getting out of control..

I much prefer the PRX.

No falcon tho.....
(Appreciate the clarification)

Its the scale.
V hard to discern at a glance from the iron cross.

Apart from the dial I probably agree.

Although different, the cross is a big turn-off for me as well.
Not that I'd spend ~£3ok on a watch in the first place...

New to me this morning. Two illusive Smiths watches - the white-dial, an a453, was the model used on the Fuchs Antarctic expedition of 1955. Mine is from later - 1958/9 I think. In lovely condition though, so I don't think it ever went to the South Pole! The other is a Smiths A420 - the "Engineers" model. Hard to photograph well, but it has a beautiful petrol blue dial.

So glad I can’t even remotely afford this.

Banger. Think I'd go black dial. I also love the vintage black dial Quartz and Automatic Overseas, if I was well off, 100% lock one of those in.

Do you have a link for the snideywatchs?
De Em me your address, have a Mission to the Sun. Unworn but not ticking you can have. Have not tried a battery in it, was working when I got it.

And just like that, the watches thread provides more imagery that I’d never noticed and now will never unsee !

Love the titty crown

The white one is basically my favourite type of dial layout
✅ Arabic numbers
✅ Hours and minutes
✅ Syringe hands
✅ Accent secondIf only there were a way to add a day date without fucking it all up.

Yeah it’s pretty good eh? I’m glad you like it! A few mm bigger would be even nicer imo. It’s 33mm roughly.

I already sent the details but had no reply.

The reissue from timefactors is pretty close. If you can be bothered to jump through a few hoops (I can’t).

That is the Maltese Falcon. Also stretch.

My Covid inspired poverty means I haven't been near this thread for literally years.
However, had an email from AnOrdain today confirming that I have a build slot in Q3 of this year.
No idea how I am going to afford it - but I am excite!

That reminds me I need to start saving.
