  • No offense but i hope this is not the new forum favourite

  • Oof. You bought the real deal didn’t you?

  • Helson matching my motorcycle jacket (unintentionally)

  • It was ironic 😂

  • Yeah, I did.

As an easy to wear watch it's fine and looks cute with those colours.

  • Love this. I have my BB58 on a khaki nato which feels similar. Needs the nato loop though.

  • Funny you should mention Zenith pilot watches.
Only this morning I purchased both of these via the LVMH employee sale (my daughter works for Belmond in UK) not the watch I was hoping for but always liked .

  • I'm just loving your screen grabs which appear to be even lower res than your cameras pics.

It's like a retro console party.

  • I thought my photos of late had been a little too clear and don’t want to be remembered for that.

  • Yeah, I know it's all El Primero this and that these days but IIRC Zenith still hold the patent for a "Pilot" watch and are apparently still the only brand allowed to put "Pilot" on the dial.

  • I only just found that out . Wild. I am really looking forward to them arriving . They were incredibly good value ( hence why I bought both when I couldn’t decide which one)

  • Any recommendations for a basic runners watch. I guess distance and heart rate are the key things. Just need something to track how I'm doing

  • When I was preparing for my first 5.6k I went for the Garmin Forerunner 255, great value.

  • Cheers. (I see you have the same Sony mini disc player I once had - sounded great iirc)

  • The 2nd one is "extra special"

  • Yeah just picked it up this morning as I was in nostalgia mode 😂
    The MZ-N1

  • That’s why I liked it !!

  • The pilot chrono is very nice.

  • Garmin venu 2 has been great for me.

  • Late to the party on this one, but I think Panerai is one of those brands where you have to go with your own heart, as group-think is usually against them. It's an easy target as it's not a "sensible" brand - they don't retain value amazingly well, I've never been convinced by their QC, have heard of some bad experiences with customer service and it's a style that not everyone appreciates or can wear. However, if you go in with your eyes open (and they've got 8 year warranty now?) and not looking to flip it, then it could be right for you. I had a 177 and loved it. I think the Quarantas are a good move for Panerai as it makes the brand more accessible. I'm not wild about the bracelets though - I'd be putting that on a strap straight away if that was me but YMMV.

  • small question and i am sure a difficult answer....

    this:

    or this:

    same price!
    240 chf +/-

  • Omega people, any suggestions as to where would be a good place to sell this figure that was created for the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. It is the 70cm version which was never available to the public and only given to astronauts, some celebrities and NASA employees.

  • I'm sure @ejay2.0 would be keen!

  • Does it come with the MTV flag?
