Should be standard 1st click out/position and turn, looks like a Seiko NH35A in there from a quick google...

It was the dial that really sold it to me. The fade is really nice.

A late entry. Switched the bracelet for a silicone strap for the hot weather.

My watch guy has finally got inside this. It’s in cracking condition for a 1943 watch, and has the original paper insert between the case back and anti-mag cover. Movement markings correlate with the caseback so it looks totally original. New crystal fitted and currently running +/- 2 mins /24 hours but getting better… nice dial eh?

Thanks! Just need a strap now. Canvas seems the most appropriate, but hard to find one that looks right…

I think this is way cool - bit like a one watch for life thing - , but, must have been a fair headache to get it

Any Garmin experts?
I'd like to try a Garmin watch, as a motivator to get fitter. The stupid whoop didn't exactly make sense.
When did they stop making fun y2k looking watches? Is there a model from the fun era that's still usable?

That’s cool, love the hands.

Maybe one of the last of the OG Forerunner range? They were always blocky and functional.

I have a Forerunner 45s (S meaning small)
I love it , modern, functional and looks relatively understated .. I spent a while getting the screen/display to my liking (simple, non-inverse) .. battery lasts and charger seems more reliable than earlier versions.
Polished case so pretty shiny yes. Also the booklet that came with it is in Japanese so haven't quite worked out how to change the date yet.
