Is there a"more affordable" (<500)2nd hand alternative to a cartier tank that doesn't feel too much like it's trying to rip off a cartier tank? Want a square, white faced, quartz watch on a black leather strap. Something for situations where a shiny watch on a metal bracelet comes across a bit overstated.

Not really in love with the concept of a Cartier in general but it seems considered the ne plus ultra by popular vote. I normally like things that are considered the respectable nlog choice by popular vote. (I have googled "SEIKO TANK" and it is under consideration, but it's quite the duplicate, no?)
