I've always wanted a Polaris.
Nice collection

Get one. Titanium/steel cases with Gold/palladium inlays designed by Gerald Genta for £400-500.. May sound small on paper but wear surprisingly well. The bracelets are also supremely comfortable. Just a fun watch overall i think will gain in popularity when people catch on.

People ask me way more about my Polaris than when i had my Tudor BB36 for example.

What no mention of the new white monstrosity on the swatch site?

What is the difference between the Polaris that say TITANE on the dial (like yours) and those that don't (like this)?

Titanium vs stainless?

I wondered that but lots without the titane branding also seemed to be listed as ti. Possibly mis-labelled? I'm sure ejay will know!

Curious machining to achieve those patterns...

I'm not entirely sure. The steel version just says Seamaster on the dial but it may have to do with what year it's from. I think the later TI models just say Seamaster as well.
The lume dots seem to be slightly less 3D in the later models also.
The material of the TI is slightly darker in color and it should say Titane on the rear.

So Euro. You can see that the inlay is a slightly softer metal hence miniscule step.
