  • That look great! I honestly think 38mm dive watch should really be a thing like it used to be, much more wearable than 42mm+, it also look more detailed if this make sense? Some watches that is 42mm or so simply look like it been stretch bigger.

  • I’m enjoying the Timex hand winding mechanism, wasn’t as bad as I thought and it’s nice to fiddle with it every now and then.

  • Just wondering, are Steinhart or Chronomaster known for end of year sales or discount codes?

  • Oh and Happy Friday from the Falls of Clyde….

  • Lovely watch but what happened to the shirt?

  • Didn’t post a pic on Friday so here’s one for Seiko Sunday.

  • Great taste

  • Outing yourself as a FT Weekend reader - report straight to golf club

  • Ta. It is a fun watch, especially when you put it on a jubilee. Starting to think the champagne dial version might low key be the pick of them.

  • That's the whole point of that watch. Reason I picked up the Casio Tiffany. Today I'm wearing a teal jumper and it'd have been great to wear it, alas I didn't bring it with me in this trip.

Yesterday was Seiko day for me (pic, I had it too lose in there, tightened it after the pic) . Today's anOrDAYn (sorry for the horrible pun)

  • My new daily beater, if I need something a bit smarter than a G-Shock; it's based on a Seiko VH31 movement so it has a sweep seconds hand (4 ticks a second I think),plus I can leave it in a drawer for a week and take it out when I need it.

  • Interesting minute hand. My Roleii doesn't get much use but fun for a day...

  • Really great.

  • That look really old school actually

  • That's very nice

  • Yeah, the colourway is based on a quartz SKX-style watch from the early 80s (I think). The Uncle Seiko jubilee helps, and I’m quite tempted to do a bezel swap for the gold & black one from the orange version, just to completely match the original.

  • Just such a handsome watch.

Still haven’t brought myself to sell the SLA017. It’s like having the same watch in both modern and vintage sizing. Nice to have that choice, but definitely feels a little excessive / unnecessary.

  • They did a great jobs, I think they missed a trick not having gold bezel as it made the arms look odd on its own without any other accent.

  • That's a lovely looking Seiko

  • Love the look of that!

  • Quite like the look of that new CW moonphase (objectively speaking and wouldn’t actually buy one)
