  • Is that a proper one??

  • The balls deep is an impressive technical achievement but I’m struggling to like the aesthetic

  • Ludicrous 18mm thick that ultra deep

  • Somehow doesn’t seem it.

  • Proper? It was properly £22 from AliExpress... ha!

  • Ah yes, a proper one.. mine steams up if it looks at water.. but still ticking away after a few months..

  • Instantly scratched the crystal, so that’s out the way. I was surprised at the attention to detail that even that, the crystal has the hidden ‘S’ in the middle.

  • Yeah I'm been looking more and found a few others.. the older Seikos etc have a far thinner fluted bezel, the newer Esty ones just look too clumpy.. Really should just get a Rolex 1601 and be done with it..

  • thing of beauty

What makes you say this? (Honest question)

  • The bracelet is really lovely the watch itself is slim for a diver , I just think the whole package is right. And it’s not too obviously “James bondy”
Even the aged lume is good.

  • Five digit versions of @Dammit pair, new to me 16610, both around 2001-2002 with lug holes and solid end links. EX2 wears smaller due to slimmer caseback and clasp, and more sloping bezel.

  • Big yes to the explorer 👍🏻

  • This is so beautiful.

  • Subjective.

    As is the Explorer II

    Imo

  • New zodiac W&W is so meh

  • Pale one is nice. Blue one looks like a swimming pool, maybe a bit too literally for me.

The Model 3 case looks to stand off the wrist a bit.

  • Nice pair. A polar 16550 with SEL & drilled lugs is definitely on my wish list.

  • Agree and looks more legible as well

  • Wot, no Friday wristies yet?

Wearing this for a change. Would probably be open to selling it if anyone’s interested… I just default to the Pelagos 39 now for that daily/diver vibe.

  • My GS SBGA229 has gone for service as it started losing chunks of time. GS store staff were surprised as this is unusual with spring drive. Wondering if one of the kids threw it across the room or something and never told me.

  • I have the anOrdain Fabrik. While it's beautiful & my favourite watch aesthetically, the legibility isn't the best so it hasn't had much wrist time. Will post a pic when I get home

  • Happy Friday all, keeping the Exp 2 vibe alive.

@user75580 - if they did wing it across the room, they better have said ‘Time Flies’ as they did it or you’ll have to disown them.

  • I got the GMT one and it's very legible. Which color you went for ?

  • Very unusual I'd say, hope they sort it quickly.

  • Happy Friday
