Lovely, don't miss out on Ravello, but I'm sure your friends will show you the best bits of the Amalfi Coast!
I'm from just the other side of the mountains

"alkin model three automatic Launching September"
Dual Time
I particularly enjoy how the minute hand precisely covers the hours markers and the relationship of the minute & (dot of the) second hands, to the recess in the dial: such attention to detail is very pleasing.Diver
Looks like the hour markers are cutouts in the dial, which is pretty cool. But while I understand why there is no "12", it's a little unbalanced to my eye: not uncommon for 12 o'clock to have a unique marker, which could comfortably accept "12".Looking at the price of 1 & 2, I'd guess around £750: am I wildly off?

I can see putting down “12” would be very tight, get what you mean by unbalanced, is it also a smaller case?
-
• #73086
is it also a smaller case?
Only limited details of the spec:
- Miyota 9039
- both versions share the same case and rotating bezel
- three colour ways for the diver and three (possibly four!) for the dual time
Forgot they also shared this one...

Still on this; it’s kept ridiculously good time since I set it a couple of weeks ago - still bang on the minute.

Amazing region, we walked down this morning to Amalfi through the ravine and passed heaps of lemon terrace groves a magical experience. Busy but not packed in town and beach with locals. I am assuming August will be heaving. Positano tomorrow and Ravello on Sunday. Daily Fail reporting that we are inferno conditions. Such a lovely vibe here to soak in the atmosphere the lemon sorbet/ lemon cream afternoon treat was a bit special.

I can fully understand the magic. Even stronger to you as a tourist
It is, after all, a wonderful place. If not too hot, try a bit of the Paths of the Gods (Il Sentiero degli Dei)

Was pleasantly surprised by this Horage. Though I had to break the news to my friend who’d just taken delivery of it that the bezel was out of alignment ☠️
Also, saw a collection of ‘ladies size’ Bulova/Accutron/Caravelle divers including this one. Was amazing. Looked they’d come out of Christmas crackers.

I'm probably an outlier here but that just offends my eyes. (I don't like the look of speedmasters generally)
To each their own.

Don't hold back Lol.
I think the Omega pilot watches suit the coloured subdials a bit more. Imo
Buongiorno, 1200 vertical steps above the Amalfi beach.. staying in Pontoni with our beautiful friends in their family home. Looking forward to having my first lemon spritz
