Well. The gold plated omega turned out to have issues despite the good visual condition and the sellers statement that it was serviced. Apparantly a known problem with the cal. but having it fixed locally wil still cost close to the sale price.

Has anyone got first hand experience with returning a watch bought through chrono24?
I want the seller to pay for return shipping and have suggested they book the shipping and send me the parcel sticker so I can just print that, pack up, and hand in.

Got a new strap for my Oris, it's a Hirsch one, I like it a lot more than the original brown one, but it's very thin leather...

Mine's a discontinued model (with a fancy bracelet added), but of the watches you were looking at, I'd be going Speedmaster all the way (hesalite & closed caseback for me). It's a classic. I'm not a fan of the new Tudor Ranger, personally, IMHO, YMMV, etc.

That is exactly what I am after the hesalite version with closed back. Have been offered one else where and really trying to get the fund together for it.

Had one and sold in 2020 but now they are another £1k to what I sold it for.
