  • Don’t tell anyone but @ChainBreaker with his supposedly giant wrists was able to close the clasp on my SPB313 when he tried it on.

  • Next you'll be telling us his hugs are so-so.

  • supposedly giant wrists

Not sure you noticed but it's not my wrists that matter...

  • Late night photos which are freaking your partner out. “Merry Xmas Me”

  • Exciting! 👀 Merry Christmas!

  • This looks very nice IMHO.
    I do like a Squale
    Sellita 200?

  • Sellita 200?

Sellita a good movement, just mean it’s easier to service and be reliable.

I like the Squale too, skin diver vibe meaning much more wearable than their 1521.

  • Sadly not a watch, just some freebie watch stand from a GS promo last night. I would’ve been annoyed had I got mugged walking around with it.
I’ll upload some pics in a bit.

  • Lolz

I was there too (unsurprisingly) and was also given one. Just taken some pictures of it but it's so wack I can't bear to post them.

  • In other GS news this special edition for the new London boutique is flipping lovely. Like the grey European one but more a champagne colour. And only 50 pieces (vs 100).

They had the sample at the event last night but I completely failed to get a decent pic of it.

  • Rolex now offering certified pre-owned pieces through Burcherer, will be fully rolled out to all AD's in 2023 apparently. Im guessing this would only help genuine buyers, who already own a Rolex, potentially secure another through their AD. Will be interesting to see what price point they choose.

  • It’s not Rolex selling them, it’s Bucherer. Rolex are offering the certification service. So I don’t think it affects waiting lists much.

It does present the slightly weird situation of a Rolex AD asking £3k more for a four year old Oyster Perpetual than it does for a brand new one though.

  • wow that dial is amazing

  • Yeah, when I was in WoS on Regent St in October, it was funny to see a whole stacked cabinet of Rolex sports references... in their pre-owned section.... for 2x retail lol

  • It actually looks like that IRL as well.

  • Pretty good racket.

  • It’s soooo slim. Very nearly broke my abstinence. Also some Eichi II action and a little display of crusty vintage pieces caught my eye - 62 MAS, 6159 (Hi Beat), 6105 ‘Willard’ and a 6159-022 ‘Tuna’.

Red bezel presage was a tidy bit of value for money.

  • So many grubby fingerprints on it by that point…

  • I cant see anything.
    Is that the joke?

  • I can, but I'm on a Mac, it might be an Apple video format?

  • I embedded an Imgur video, works for me?
Edit: weird. It was working, now I can’t see it on my phone but it’s there on my iPad.
