I saw this Seamaster 1948 in a display case yesterday, really liked it overall..

Apparently a small second version is also available..

Probably not a hit seller because it’s a still sitting in the case despite the Limited Edition (1948 pièces, released in 2020)

I like it , sold a couple of both versions.
Make them a silly offer if it’s been there a while.
I think they were launched in 2018.

I like mine, it’s maybe a little thick but I only think that when I’m looking it over before putting it on, doesn’t occur to me when I’m wearing it.

I paid £100 more for mine and thought I got a good deal!

I have no criticism of it, which I do about every single other watch I ever buy - so one can hope. Also scratched such a big Grand Seiko itch for literally pennies on the dollar, so I think I'll be keeping it.

I don't know if it's just me but all the Seiko divers look pretty much the same to me, regardless of price.

Were you after a gold capped Omega or was that someone else??

Not 100% decided, had been looking at silver Omega Geneve's or similar..

Could be me, though budget suggest plated rather than capped.

Tried the Seiko SPB143J1 on at the Seiko 'boutique'... It's just a shop... Anyway, yeah it fit well an is ok but at $1800 Aud I wasn't super impressed... the limited edition hi beat version was listed at over 9 thousand Aussie dollar bucks. Nope. Pic for reference

Yep I felt the same way about it, they also have some play between in bracelet and the case which is annoying for a watch of this price..
I believe someone on here had one and moved it on

A little bit. I feel like they've flooded their market since doing their modern interpretation of the 62MAS. Similar for the Alpinist range.
