Heading to South Africa for two weeks, with a few days stop in Istanbul on the return, not sure which watch travel with..

Any recommandation for vintage watches shopping in Cape Town or Istanbul ?

I've not been to Cape Town much but I wouldn't really walk around with anything more flashy than a casio over there.

That was the advice I had over there (and the guy I was talking to who lived there ummed and aahed over whether that was OK).

The shadows cast by the hour markers makes this even more exciting and dramatic.

Oh, that lume looks fantastic. Rest of it, too, but that lume in particular.

I think the Sub300 wear great. What is the claimed case diameter, 43mm? It wears like a 40mm at most (because of the lug to lug being like 45mm or so). And they just look like saucers, period.

Thinking of putting a fabric strap on this.
