Did have the Speedy on earlier when I went out for lunch (5KX GMT has also had a look in this week) but back on this.
Been impressed with it. These are decent value I think (well, the strap version is, the bracelet ones maybe less so). The hands are really nicely executed. Nicer than the previous two Prospex divers I’ve had at this price point.

I love a blue watch but this is my favourite Tudor the Bronze Bucherer Blue. Shame they never made it in the 58

I got a new strap for my citizen, a Christopher Ward tide strap. A little pricey for what it is but I was really struggling to find anything that I liked for it.
Feels tough and surprisingly comfortable.

Cheers. I think the real art of watch collecting is hunting down these rare references in amazing condition. My only skill is buying from those collectors!

Going for a bit more suncream-based patina today

Rather beautiful new limited edition hand-wound spring drive 44GS:
Fortunately at 40mm it's too large to tempt me.

If anyone is interested, the clear casio 5600 is on sale on casios website for £60

That's lovely. Would have to see it to know if 40mm is too large.
On a folding clasp deployment too which is nice.

Yeah, it's a matter of taste of course, the 44GS was always a relatively large watch even when it was new, and being hand wound at least it's only 10.5mm thick which is great. 38 would probably be my sweet spot for a 44GS though.
Ooh that blue looks so nice.
