I love the auto version of this. Shame they didn’t do the same green on those. They went with more of a mossy colour but the quartz ones really pop!

I got this, this week, but sadly the sellers promise of 'just needs a new battery' turned out to be false, so its got to go back. Oh well....

Step-Grandfathers long service Garrard on today.
I’ve been polishing it up trying to save the original, heavily scarred, crystal.
He was an engineer at Vauxhall in Luton and when he got this he just wore it at work!
It’s the dressiest watch I have so want to get it ready for post-pandemic wedding season.
It needs a new strap though, anyone got a good line on straps for 15mm lugs?
Edit - 35mm watch on a broken wrist looks tiny, the wrist will hopefully become less fat and less broken over time!

Chris Hall used to be at QP where i first met him and is now senior watch editor at MrPorter.
I don’t slave over watch websites as while interested i’m not following every launch/gossip/story but find this is a good way of finding out what’s going on with a bit of insider insight and not hitting refresh on Hoodwinky.
