Sun’s out and a short day beckons, unfortunately an afternoon of MOT roulette with the car also beckons. Old favourite on today.

I'm looking for a better way to store my watches (not a huge number, 5 or 6 right now). I love the idea of the plastic, foam lined case idea, but no idea what to search for/where to look. Any ideas or recommendations?

Pelican case?

The Case Farm do Peli cases with inserts for watches if that's the sort of thing you're after.

For general home use, the Wolf stackable trays are reasonably priced and well made, but they go in and out of stock a lot.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, my favourite watch on this forum. If you ever want to sell it with a possibility of buying it back (ha!) - let me know 👍
King/Grand Seiko quartz from the late ‘70s are amazing value and were produced in good numbers so if you’re patient you can find pieces still in fantastic condition for >£300. Most of the eBay sellers are just hoovering up stuff from yahoo.jp and doubling their money, if you can be arsed to fish the Japanese sites (you have to use a vpn now because of a recent change in legislation) the Seiko world is your oyster.
I was lucky enough to get a VFA a couple of years ago when they were under the radar and there’s no way I’d sell or be able to afford one now but on the rare occasions like today it gets an outing to town, it still gives me a buzz. I’ll take a pic when I’m not surrounded by train wankers.
