  • Still no change.

Quite liberating only wearing one watch.

  • Don't be too hard on Sumo. Darwin ate (at least*) one of every animal he documented

*depending on how tasty they were.

  • Stripping wallpaper before work Friday shenanigans here.

  • Likewise. Considering selling my other divers as they get no wear at all…

  • I have avoided this thread for the best part of two years, as T'virus has affected me financially, and I can live without the temptation.

Today however, I am wearing this:

    It belongs to Mrs Jangle.

About 5 or 6 years ago, she was driving through the French countryside at night, on the left hand side of the road. When the inevitable head on collision happened, Mrs J got to spend some time in hospital, and the impact broke the watch. You can see the crystal is damaged in the bottom left hand corner.

I've just got round to having it repaired. The chaps at Alsal did a great job.

  • Lovely watch. Interesting back story.

  • Awesome watches today! Have a great weekend people 👋

  • Quite tempted by one of these seesternwatches

Not sure I can see myself ever getting their Seiko "homages" however

  • The Seiko copies even have (budget) Seiko movements in them… ugh

  • I've been wearing this the vast majority of the time since I got it, such a practical watch.

  • Same as last week, happy Friday!

  • I got to put mine back on bracelet, it's also my everyday wear as it so slim and nice to feel the dome crystal.

Only nag is lack of date that I surprisingly find I'm missing it.

  • This old thing today. Date adjustment doesn’t work since it fell from a locker onto a concrete floor a couple of years ago but still keeps good time.

  • The reviews of this are really good and I believe they just released a new model. Still a fake/homage though...

  • Popped into the office today as there was an internal move happening, so wore the old Helson for a treat

  • Does it actually say Levi on the dial? That's the name of my eldest son.

  • My friday watch

  • Happy Friday all. I’m trying out this new Rios1931 strap in stone grey to match the dial. It seems very well made and really supple straight out the box. 1 working day delivery too.

  • It says Levis, try googling Levis watches ... 😞

  • Thanks. Yeah, that's a bit of a challenge.

  • Egg timing duties
