There’s a shit-ton of sharpening/contrast happening in that insta pic but it shows the texture well, yeah.

No, I know, but it still helps me see what it might look like in the flesh a bit more in the right lighting. Tempted to say it’s the nicest GS I’ve ever seen actually. Not a single thing I’d change which is not the case for most of them.

There’s a few more. 😬
OP36; SLA017 (62MAS recreation); GS SBGW267; Speedmaster FOIS; teal enamel AnOrdain Model 1; black rhodium AnOrdain Model 1; Paulin Neo; JDM turtle; gilt turtle; Squale 1521 50 Atmos; Seiko MM200 (for sale); Seiko 5 40mm SRPE (probably for sale); older Seiko 5 42mm silver dial; Hoodwinkee Swatch.
Then a separate collection of 7 G-Shocks… (Teal G-Lide one might be for sale.)

Love the concept of the separate G-Shock collection!

Pic of the Seiko for sale please 😁

Haha, they sort of are and aren’t. They’re kept separately partly because some of them are solar and need regular light. But they are kind of psychologically separate. They’re cooler and more normal than all the nerdy wind-up stuff.

This is the SBDC065. Boxed, excellent condition, hardly a mark on it thanks to the diashield coating. Rubber strap is unused. Great watch but I always wear the SLA instead now. £550?

Then I am half-considering selling the SRPE even though I just put a jubilee on it. Nice watch, I like what they did with these, but it feels like it doesn’t quite have a place in the collection.

I took a few pics for you on my walk this morning.
It’s one of those dials that looks radically different in different light/conditions. Sometimes it flattens right out and sometimes you get a kind of sunray, but because the dial is domed it kind of curves and flips in an unusual way.
Plus the dial surface reflects so much light you get a bunch of other stuff going on, eg light bouncing off the underside of the hands.

The brown strap bothered me so much I’ve put a black one from the Speedmaster on it until the new ones arrive. Omega buckle, don’t tell anyone.

Hope I didn't get you fired.
Thanks all, sorry for the spam.

Lols. I'll tell you what, the GS buckle is ten times nicer than the Omega (FOIS) one.

Perfect on a black strap

I like the brown strap, but I appreciate aesthetic is personal.

Heh, no worries. It did make me start to wonder how much of the traction that GS are starting to get in the West is down to how well the watches photograph on instagram…
-
• #58349
Yeah nice, think i'd looked at that before. If you sell the bracelet separately I'd be interested.

Ok, I’ll let you know. Still making my mind up on it.
Wow that dial is just stunning, isn’t it? Seeing it in that Instagram photo shows it off even more. Just wow. Probably my favorite GS dial to date.
