Hard pass.
They'll sell shitloads.

Question is how will it age. Is it a "special" bronze mix? Because a bit of aging on the case is fine, but on the bracelet it will be too much

anyone on here have a Tissot Seastar 871 (Lemania 1281)? I really really want one...

Well their "special" silver alloy hasn't done so well at resisting staining/corrosion, it seems.
Wonder if it's just the same as their regular BB "aluminium bronze". The rest of the watch looks very similar.

Though:
The back of the case is PVD coated stainless steel, in order to prevent excessive skin staining
So maybe they'd have to do something different for a bronze bracelet.

Looks like it's made of the same metal, they don't say specifically what type alloy it is but they talk about them together

Ah, I thought it was a leak. Yeah. Looks the same. Complimentary green wrist with every watch.

I've got one these in 21mm, I can get you some snaps this evening if you like?

I believe it's the Honoris - brown stitching that I have. Very soft, supple leather strap. I'd have to measure the overall length.

not a fan of bronze, but the 3-6-9 dial is an interesting move.

They always have 3-6-9, a first on a 58 thought.

Thanks for your reply...
Yes it is a birth year watch that i am after. I'm not sure if theses are rare beasts but I can't find many around.
As ekallus has mentioned earlier maybe Omegaforums might throw something up.
thanks again -

It's not a watch for me. I prefer the BB58, to be honest. I know this is superior and all that, but I just can't see myself choosing this over the Tudor. And I can't justify having it to wear for a couple of weeks each year. Great watch though, for sure.

Pfft. If you had enough watches you wouldn't need to wear any for more than a couple of weeks per year.

That’s true. I’m not that kind of guy (un) fortunately. I find that if I have more than 3/4 watches I’m constantly thinking I’m not wearing something enough. 3 is perfect, really… for me.

Can't work out if that blue is daylight or lume?

A mate is trying to sell a watch for £3.5k but eBay is telling him it's over his monthly spending limit. What's the best place for him to sell it via? I have no idea about watches so I said I'd ask here

The lume is blue on the indices and hour hand, and on the minute hand it’s green 👍
Well.. i like it..
