  • Out of the watch habit over lockdown, so nice to wear this again. Not massive wrist, it's Seamaster mid size for scale

  • Yeah I’m more into the NATO than I expected. Especially when I learnt how to wear it differently and it fit a lot better, with the gubbins all towards the inside of the wrist.

  • Date night. Drinks and dinner. (ignore the date. Overshot and to lazy to get it right)

  • It’s a 5513 from 1984

  • Not wearing them? (no patina, no wonder your girlfriend brought it).

  • Strong showing today

Still srp, moody erikas arrived today so put black one on.

  • I quite like the lugs on it

  • Yup, nice and long so super comfortable.

Really is a faithful tribute to the originals. Only 50 made I think.

  • I own the blue one, is amazing for the price.

  • I actually don't think it is amazing for it's current going rate. But for the price you paid it is amazing.

  • I actually don't think it is amazing for it's current going rate.

    who you referring to JB?

  • Spotter. I bought the citizen promastee for something like $90. It was an insane Amazon prime day deal. But since then I've seen them for ~$250 which is not as much of an amazing deal.

  • Finally sized up the bargain citizen promaster auto (ny-0086-83l) and it wears really well. Feels like an old friend. There is some negatives though. The bracelet, while it is actually comfortable, it's so cheaply made and is hard to get the clasp on as the pressed steel distorts. It's secure once on. But then it includes a micro adjust divers extention that makes finding the perfect fit so easy. Why can citizen include this excellent feature but omega can't offer the same in a vastly more expensive Speedmaster bracelet? The case itself is good, nice brushed surfaces and polished rounded case edges.

The movement though... Not the smoothest to adjust and the day change positively graunching. Not sure if normal. Will see about accuracy after this week.

    Overall, I like it.

  • I just got my daily beater fortis flieger serviced for the first time since I got it. This thread made me do it, for which I want to shout out a thank you. It may have cost me €250, but it really runs beautifully now. I specifically requested for the scratches to be left alone, since they were made by my late dad. The hour work itself needed the service really badly. It's pretty cool to realise that it's kind of like a bike, sometimes you need to clean and replace some parts, but when you run it it's very satisfying.
