Oh well, thanks for the offer, I'm going to have 4 more to chose from soon anyway.

Would it suit a Sinn EZM3?

Speaking of straps, anyone have any specific recommendations for sailcloth straps?

Not really... all the ones I tried were pretty stiff.
I fancy the Longines Spirit black dial, the 40mm. Anyone tried it?
Well, I really fancy an IWC mark XII-XVIII or Spitfire but don't fancy the price, so as I'm a Longines fan, I'm thinking that will do nicely. -

That’s what I was wondering. Anyone tried the Barton one?
The lugs look rather long on that Longines but that might not be an issue for you.

Slightly shorter than the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical I think, doesn't bother me at all, and actually looks nicer when worn on a NATO.

Just put the snooker on and Ronnie O'Sullivan is wearing what looks like a Casio bomber.
Bit of a change from the JLC I seemed to recall him wearing in the past -

Can't speak to the Longines, but IMO the only true IWC marks are the ones with the MOD stub hand: they just look wrong with flieger sword hands.

Was looking at this, I like it as it’s a nice alternative to the Hamilton with more water resistance, also looked at the Oris Big Crown.

I like both to be honest 😬

Not much discount available on these either which is odd. I can get it at around 20% off and would probably still be losing money if I want to move it on. There’s a white dial for sale (with a bracelet!) for £950 and it’s not selling. I better wait for the shops to open, so I can try one on...
Edit: dropped to £900

I had a Barton sailcloth strap for a short time. It became frayed around the holes and keepers within days. Comfy, but no good long term

Thats lovely!

The Barton one is also quite stiff. I’ve got a very lightly used one (maybe four wears) if you want to try it, 24mm in blue. I posted a picture a few months ago of it on a Magrette- wasn’t a lairy enough blue for me.

@TRA @underuser53929 thanks both, reckon I’ll give it a miss then. It was kind of a “what if” for the Seiko 5.

Watchgecko one insofar the best one (it’s what I have on my Seiko)
Damn, I have a lovely strap that would go well with it I reckon... Oh well.
