Ah something to do with a lifestyle brand that makes shirts for people that aspire to one day own a customised motorcycle.

Not sure if this thread is the target audience for that particular watch

That’s very true but I was only told about it today and you never know who someone knows.
I think it may already be presold anyway according to the email I missed earlier. -

Dirty dozen / military field watches:
A friend is looking for a vintage military watch for a birthday present - does anyone have recommendations for a reputable shop (London based or online) with a decent range? They're not after a specific brand or reference but don't want to end up with a dud, happy to pay a bit of a premium for a warranty etc. -

My friend is selling this for £800 posted. Brand new, full set.
https://timorwatch.com/Edit: just read that word there “vintage”. Ignore my post :-)

Thanks, I've forwarded it on but they are set on a vintage watch with age to it.

Second hand Hamilton? They’re usually the go-to for field watch, their existing line up (hand wound) already look vintage.

So; dome, bezel insert and dial?
No comparison but having my snk modded with dome and dial has made me enjoy and wear it loads more. -

I think I've seen one of the shops down Burlington Arcade have a decent selection but I'm not 100% sure if I'm right or which one it was. Sorry. Maybe someone else can confirm or deny.

These are really nice - the rrp of £900 is eye watering though- esp compared to the Smiths W10 (timefactors). But it is lovely...

Seiko in my hands now , I’ve put it on the crafter blue samurai specific strap and I really like it .
Fella that modded was really quick , and reasonable if folk want a recommendation they can PM or am I allowed to put his details up .. I have no relationship with the modder

I only just realised how lame their marketing really is... Every add I see there is some motorcycle in the background:/ i wonder who would buy a 4800€ watch that says "benzin" on it
