What time is it? Watches and horology

I’m only thinking out loud but it doesn’t look like Tudor got the A team to design that dial. Doesn’t really sing to me.

This was the watch given by ed sheeran to his band members, for his Divide album tour. Not a limited edition.

But yeah. Custom dial order. Slightly surprised Tudor did it, Rolex stopped with that some time ago. That’s probably why it’s so sought after.

I find it annoying that the numerals & markers aren't fully lumed (or of the same colour than the hands for that matter - or the other way around)

Shame as it's a great looking watch otherwise, glws :-)

Pretty cool either way, if you were given one. Not sure I'd ever buy something like that no matter how rich and obsessed I was with a musician.

I know what you mean. That doesn't bother me as much as the non signed crown. Some of their £1k watches have just a plain crown too, which is really disappointing. Small details though.

Really - it looks like everything has changed.

I Don't Care for the watch itself but I think it was a nice gesture - must have left the crew with a real Afterglow.

Never understood the obsession with signed crowns. I particularly don’t like the laser engraved Prospex ones, I would rather have a sterile crown than that cheap looking engraving.

Me neither, I just like it. The Prospex ones are probably a bad example as they do suck, but the ''S'' like on the SARB035 for example, that would be nice.

I give up. In conclusion, I think the fact that I crowbarred 7 Sheeran song references onto this page and no-one bit (or even noticed) reflects better on you lot than it does on me :)

I love that. The detail on the face is quite lovely. The whale shark is the only pelagic I want to see up close before I can no longer dive. Sorely, sorely tempted but it's a bit too much for me.

Agree with that. I've got this one and find I wear it a lot more than the cheap Apple watch looking er... homage I had previously.
