Same. I looked at some kits on Amazon then decided I'd butcher the watch so left it.
Tempus came to £65. I had a new bezel, chapter ring, sapphire glass and hands fitted. Pressure testing and delivery were included in the cost and the turn around was swift considering I had it done over Christmas. He was excellent and happy to answer any questions.

Interesting! Looks good.
May I ask what the details are? I am particularly fond of the bloodoon mod above.

Tempus came to £65
I am being lazy... Sorry.
Who is tempus? How are the parts and the watch passed on? You post the lot to them?

Cheers, not a bad price really, when you'd probably spend that on a crystal press and hand setting tools to DIY.

No worries. It's https://www.tempusmods.co.uk/ - they fit the parts. They have some in stock, but Namoki and DLW have a bigger supply of different parts which Tempus are happy to install or offer advice on.
I bought the watch online. Sourced parts from Namoki. Once they were all delivered, I sent them onto Tempus and they fitted them. If there's any questions about compatibility, then Tempus are happy to help although it's pretty straight forward to find relevant parts for the watch.
Namoki were very helpful too. I did get caught by import tax on the parts, but it wasn't too bad. https://www.namokimods.com/

Just wondering if anyone’s after the new Smiths Navigator? One for sale now at £505 including postage. I know these are hard to get from TF, so thought I’d post it here.
Edit: and gone.

Amazing watches.
Next level of blue would be that hideous Rolex “smurf” :-) -

Not surprised

They'd all have VAT applied I believe, so UK watches all increased in price by 20%.
-

The difference is they now have to have VAT applied to the full sale price. Before, the EU margin scheme meant VAT was charged but only on the margin, ie sale price minus the purchase price. Watches sold within the EU are still in the margin scheme so they are paying VAT, just a lot less than if they buy from the UK.

nice
Out of interest, how much do Tempus charge for the fitting?
I keep threatening to mod an SKX, but my lack of skills and tools mean I wold most likely ruin, rather than improve, it.
