SBGR053 is a beauty. Funny enough, I think GS entry level is amazing value. The super expensive pieces are awesome too but anything in between is a bit imperfect... can’t deal with the “upside down” power reserve on most Spring Drive powered watches.

Yeah. Was a good price at $2k as well. Which is also what I sold it for. It certainly sat high on the wrist, though, which is why I like my Aerospace so damn much. It’s so slim by comparison and also has a HAQ quartz movement.

Awesome, looks great on you... It really is the nicest field watch out there IMVHO... Haven't taken mine off since I got it, nothing else is getting a look in!

I think the GS autos are tad too thick, hand wounds are cool. The 9F Quartz is perfect at around 10mm.

Does anyone know of a Doxa stockist in London? I can’t locate one with some Googling.

I wish it was a tad smaller and had a signed crown, if I was being picky. Also, the bracelet is not the best either but on a NATO it’s great. And it does look really good, I didn’t like it much at first but it grew on me, so decided to keep it. I don’t think I’d pay retail for it though. 70h power reserve is great but the accuracy is a bit hit and miss... I’ll post the stats on Friday.

Comfortable? Mine came on a bracelet. I think these look great on a tropic, so looking forward to getting it.

I'm basically after this but with a hardened glass lens because the plastic lens scratches so easily. What's out there? And ideally £20-40 ?

Buy what you like, seems like you’ve made the choice already and it looks great.
I’d personally stay away from Timex as only had bad experiences.
