What time is it? Watches and horology

My watch choice at the moment is pretty much dictated by which watches have a date on them. I have no idea when it is otherwise.

Anyone want to buy any of these three watches? Got a kitchen to pay for.

Dates on watches are so stupid these days.

Same with watches that tell the time, to be fair.

Went through the motions for the date yesterday.

1. Check watch. Bugger, chronograph.

2. Check phone. Crap, left in other room.

3. TV menu. Safe.

Wife wants a kitchen. #puerilesexistshit

How often do you need to check the date maybe zero to one time a day?

I dunno, I look at my watch all the time to check time, and when I need a quick date check then a quick glance is the easiest. I tend to get annoyed when I glance at my Speedy and have no idea what the date is.

You're obviously less senile than I am.

Save that for the modded version.

Horses for courses I guess. I check my watch all the time too. I don’t need to know what the date is very often but if I do I check my phone.

Saying that I do love moon phase complications 🤷🏻‍♂️

Look the LHD and Seamaster 300 both have a date. Just buy them.

I prefer a (day) date in use but I'll make an exception for this.

Annoyingly I have recieved a FedEx customs charge after having it back from warranty. The fix was free and I already paid import customs when I bought it so surely I can appeal this?
