Crown looks like a section of a tungsten dart grip... probably for good reason, it’s supposed to be able to be operated with gloves on IIRC.

So many horrible iterations of great watches there. I’d have the Santos but not that Chrono version. Quite like a Pam but not that rank brown and bronze one.

I haven't taken mine off since I got it this time last year, my absolute favourite watch... The Ray Mears thing was just an internet nickname AFAIK, he wore the OG version for a few years 'til he started sporting a Sub...

The old ones look a bit more bubbly than the recent version, which I really like... Might have to stump up for an old one someday...

I'm quite keen in one of these. 40mm dia and 11mm thick, titanium, eco drive. 200m.... might even have a slightly domed saphire. Japan only so a fair tax to pay. Not sure it's worth $700 aud

What does the pusher do? I prefer the simplicity of the Promaster Tough, that's obvs the dad version... 😉

The pusher syncs to a radio time signal that only works in Japan. Perfect for Aus 😂 but yeah, the pusher is the one thing I don't like. The rest is just right for an everyday watch.

I only ask as I got some from an ethical fair about a year ago to make my wedding ring (not done yet). Small one in Hatton Garden as I couldn't make it to the large one at the Olympia.

I like that .. does the minute hand extension ever confuse you ?
