Straton.
They do a lot of retro styled chronos -

I like that - went to check their site and now can't get over the phallic hour hand...

Phew it's a quartz my El Primero fund is safe. Super nice though, pretty perfect if it was auto.
Not against quartz in principle just hate the tick. Hence the D1 with no second hand!

Super cool. Hadn’t seen these before, case looks like it’s made by Squale maybe?

Thanks, I have a thing for vintage divers.

It's a mecha quartz, the second hand is static until the chrono starts then it moves 5 times per second, so it doesn't really tick.
Also, I do not work for them!

That's a cracker too. Must be due the reissue treatment from Zenith.

Wowsers, they're both super lovely watches.
More importantly, what glass polish are you using ?

I hope they don't re-issue it. They'd only bugger it up and give it a "modern case size" and "update the fragile bakelite to a modern ceramic" insert. It's a vintage watch, Zenith should focus on making modern watches that will become classics.
The only thing they could improve is the original elasticated strap, I've never known anything better for ripping the hair from your wrists.

Thanks. Just an old t-shirt and some metal polish, solvol autosol or brasso depending on what's to hand, toothpaste if there's nothing else.

Ha ha!
Over 25 years of collecting, buying and selling watches, it funds itself thankfully.

Omega would (and do) do that, Zenith have actually done some nice 1:1 reissues recently. But I take your point!

Morning All! As there's some love for Seiko divers here I thought I'd stick this on today, 1974 6105-8110. Bought from a local charity shop last year.

Morning! Do you live in an oil field? 🤔
What’s this? I’m always looking for a nice chrono.
