^^ nout at the mo. Z, did aroogahs a little while back, and still waiting for mine to come back from the states

  • Will post pics of my MurtzWatchWorx-ified Seiko diver soon. Looks fantastic!

  • mWWz™

  • ^My favourite radio station that.

  • Indeed.

That diver is a chunky mother!

  • Looks like they are running a Unitas calibre. Strange to see in a wristwatch, and interesting as I didn't realise that they did a power reserve (not that I know anything about Unitas, so that isn't surprising!).

  • Does anyone know how to remove a strap from lugs? I have two different watches with the same strap and I want to swap the straps over. Any technique or tips greatly received. Ta!

  • not tellin'

  • you can use a knife, but the gloves aren't really necessary

  • Bugger! That's not fair. He's got a tiny cloven hoofed screwdriver and all I've got is a cocktail stick :(

  • Aah, knife it is then, thanks School of Murtzwatchz :)

  • you can use a knife, but the gloves aren't really necessary

Ahh, but the gloves really are necessary. How else are you going to make a simple task appear overly complicated without the ability to hide what you are doing.

  • Just got this for christmas. It's a '66. Apparantly Tissot provided the movements for Omega Seamasters at that time. Anyways, the sound of the rotor when I shake the watch is just fantastic!
I want to put it on a black strap with a matching deployment buckle. Trying to decide what kind of grain I want.

  • I also just made a strap...!

Sorry for the massive spammage, I'm just a bit happy with my self.

  • Chapeau, really neat job, what's the watch?

  • well done dron, that's pretty neat.........competition moves up a step :)

Thank you. I was clearly inspired by you.

  • Chapeau, really neat job, what's the watch?

    thanks!

seiko 5 military (don't remember the model number)

  • SNK805K2 possibly

  • That is a lovely Seiko

  • SNK805K2 possibly

    Fountain of all knowledge!

From that, I've found this, which I think looks nice, and would be possibly good with a brown leather strap:

  • thewre is also a SNK807K2 and a SNK809K2, just different coloured faces
